The Great Goofini is anxious to demonstrate his stupendous stunts and daredevil wizardry. Climb aboard his whacky airplane as he shows off his aeronoutical exploits and acrobatic skills. Wait, did we say this was the Great Goofini? As in…Goofy? Yep. And you can probably figure out what that means – things are probably not going to go as planned…

Your topsy turvy trip takes you up, down and all around Goofy’s barn. But watch out, as you swing around for one last turn it looks like you’re going to be heading right for the back of the the barn! Fortunately (for you anyway), it looks like “someone” has already crashed into it ahead of you. Can you tell who it might have been?

This fun-filled roller coaster is the first in Walt Disney World designed specifically for kids.

Magical Moments

  • Children will love the Barnstormer, it’s a roller coaster that’s just their size. Even if you don’t ride with them, pick out a good spot so you can see the look on their faces as they zoom past.
  • The most magical part of the ride is when you enter the barn (if you pay attention you’ll see that you aren’t the first to do so!).

Hidden Mickeys & Other Secrets

  • On the huge billboard at the right side of The Barnstormer, a small gray classic Hidden Mickey is located in the middle of the propeller of the farthest right lower plane. The attraction train hurtles through the left side of this billboard.

Did You Know...?

  • The chickens in the queue area are actually from the Epcot attraction World of Motion. When World of Motion closed its doors in 1996 to make way for Test Track, the chickens were whisked away and took up new residence in Goofy’s barn.

Touring Tips

  • This coaster is specifically designed for kids, including smaller size riding cars. Larger adults may find it a tight squeeze.
  • This is an extremely short ride, and is very popular with younger kids. Consequently, lines can get very long. If you’d like to ride, your best bet is to visit early in the morning, late in the day, or during a parade or show.
  • See if you can spot the scarecrow-he looks rather familiar (heeyuk!).
