But watch out, there’s an ominous volcano just outside the window…let’s hope everything stays bright and cheerful!

Magical Moments

Be sure to get to the theater earlier to watch a hilarious pre-show that take place in the waterfall courtyard!
The angry-tiki-gods storm segment is probably the most magical part of the show. Be sure to look out the “windows”…you’ll really think it’s raining outside!

Hidden Mickeys & Other Secrets

You can find two Hidden Mickeys made out of wicker on the bottoms of two of the bird perches. The first perch can be found immediately to your left as you enter the theater, the second will be on your right as you exit.

Did You Know...?

Jose, Michael, Fritz, and Pierre were the original hosts of this show, which opened in Disneyland in 1963.
There are a total of 88 singing birds throughout the theater.
The rooftop of the Tiki Room building is also visible from Frontierland. In an amazing example of Disney’s attention to detail, figures of Asian Water Buffalos were placed there so that the structure would look equally at home in both Adventureland and Frontierland.
During the 90s, it was becoming evident that the Enchanted Tiki Room was becoming somewhat dated. Ideas for a new attraction were kicked around, but after some consideration it was decided that the Tiki Room was too integral to the Magic Kingdom’s history to be removed.
Thus, the notion of updating the show was born, and it didn’t take long to realize that there were two famous feathered friends who might be able to lend a hand, er, wing. So in 1998, the Enchanted Tiki Room (Under New Management) made its debut, with Iago (from Aladdin) and Zazu (from The Lion King) adding new life, humor, and song to the classic show. The attraction reverted back to the original Disneyland version of the show on August 15, 2011, changing its name to the current “Walt Disney’s Enchanted Tiki Room.”

Touring Tips

Before you enter the theater, you’ll see a hilarious show in the outside waiting area starring the talent agents of the new show, William and Morris!
There isn’t really a bad seat in the house, though if you sit back a few rows you may have an easier time seeing the action in the middle of the theater.
