The village square showcases the architectural styles of towns like Bergen, Settesdal, and Oslo. The Stave Church at the entrance of the pavilion is modeled after Akershus, a 14th century fortress in Oslo Harbor.

You’ll also find an authentically detailed Viking ship that you can explore. Beware the trolls!

The main attraction here is Frozen Ever After, where you can take a trip to Arendelle to visit Anna, Elsa, Olaf, and all of your favorite characters from Frozen. You’ll even get to sail through Elsa’s magical ice palace!

Finally, don’t forget to visit the Stave Church. Here you’ll find an exhibit that shows you the mythological origins of Thor, Loki, and Odin.

Magical Moments

  • Keep your eyes open on Frozen Ever After and see what kind of predicament Sven has gotten himself into!
  • The journey through Elsa’ ice palace is truly breathtaking…you’re guaranteed to sing along, and perhaps shed a tear!
  • Be sure to venture inside the Puffin’s Roost shop to find a larger than life wooden troll! He’s a favorite photographic subject.

Did You Know...?

  • As you wander through the Norway pavilion you’ll be able to marvel at four classic Norwegian architectural styles. The Puffin’s Roost and Kringla Bakeri og Kafe are designed in the Setesdal style, which features grassy roofs and rustic logs that create a rustic appearance. The Bergen style is evident in the Fjording Shop with its gabled windows and wood construction. Akershus Castle reflects the architectural distinctiveness of Oslo, while the entrance to Maelstrom is modeled in the tradition of the Alesund style which features white stucco and stone trim.

Touring Tips

  • Be sure to visit the Stave Church (yes, you can go inside!) to see an exhibit showing you the mythological origins of Thor, Loki, Odin, and Freya.
  • Look for the KIDCOT pavilion, where children can color in a special World Showcase mask and have their passports or autograph books signed and stamped (passports can be obtained at most World Showcase gift shops, our Guide to the Magic for Kids book also contains special World Showcase sections with lots of extras).
  • Restaurant Akershus features tempting Norwegian delicacies and Princess Storybook Dining all day long. You may be able to catch a glimpse of Belle, Jasmine, Snow White, Sleeping Beauty, Pocahontas, Mary Poppins, Mulan, and even Ariel!
  • Visit the Kringla Bakeri Og Kafe for a great selection of pastries, including sweet pretzels and rice pudding.
