Located near the front of the Dinosaur attraction, Dino-Sue is an awe-inspiring monument to one of the fiercest predators ever to walk the face of the earth. Fortunately (for us), the Tyrannosaurs Rex isn’t around any more, but if you want an idea of the power and might of this fearsome beast, be sure to check out the DINOSAUR attraction nearby!

There are a number of paths nearby with authentic replications of dinosaurs scattered here and there. Wander through and pretend you’ve been transported back to prehistoric times!

Hidden Mickeys & Other Secrets

As you walk through Cretaceous Trail near DinoSue, look for a dinosaur with three spots on its back forming a Hidden Mickey.

Did You Know...?

Dino-Sue soars nearly 14 feet in the air and is over 45 feet long.
The original skeleton was discovered in the Black Hills of South Dakota in 1990. More than 90% of the bones were found intact.
Dino-Sue was named after archeologist Sue Hendrickson.
When DinoLand USA first opened, guests got a chance to see an actual three-member team from Chicago’s Field Museum work on Dino-Sue at the Fossil Preparation Labs (since closed), painstakingly reproducing the largest, most complete Tyrannosaurus Rex skeleton ever found.
