Walk through this incredibly detailed representation of cities from all over Germany. The buildings were inspired by those in Bavaria and the Rhine region. And as you leave the Germany pavilion (on your way to Italy), be sure to stroll through the miniature village. Keep your eye out for the model train winding it’s way through the town!

Magical Moments

Be sure to wander through the charming miniature village to the right of the pavilion, the detail is amazing.
You can sometimes see German artisans painting authentic Hummel figurines and beautifully detailed eggs.

Hidden Mickeys & Other Secrets

Take a look at the second floor of the building to the right of the glockenspiel clock. You’ll notice three suits of armor; the suit closest to the clock sports a Hidden Mickey in the crown.

Did You Know...?

The statue in the heart of the pavilion is of St. George slaying a dragon.
A Rhine River attraction was originally planned for the pavilion but never built. You can see its large wooden doors still standing near the Sommerfest cafe.

Touring Tips

You can tour the Germany pavilion anytime of day, it rarely gets crowded.
Look for the KIDCOT pavilion, where children can color in a special World Showcase mask and have their passports or autograph books signed and stamped (passports can be obtained at most World Showcase gift shops, our Guide to the Magic for Kids book also contains special World Showcase sections with lots of extras).
The Clock Tower has two glockenspiel figures that sing every hour.
The shops here feature a great selection of German toys and cuckoo clocks.
The Biergarten Restaurant is a replica of an indoor German courtyard. You’ll be entertained by yodelers and dancers!
For a quick snack, be sure to sample a bratwurst at the Somerfest cafe.
