A recreation of Bejing’s Temple of Heaven is the centerpiece of this exotic pavilion and is surrounded by lush gardens, lotus ponds, bamboo groves and tranquil waterfalls.

  • Take time to explore the pathways around the lily pond, they are surprisingly peaceful and full of beautiful flowers and plants.

Did You Know...?

  • The pavilion was inspired by the Temple of Heaven in Beijing, a summer retreat for Chinese emperors. The original Temple was built in 1420 during the Ming Dynasty.
  • The Reflections of China movie presentation is located inside a replica of the Hall of Prayer for Good Harvest.

Touring Tips

  • The Dragon Legend Acrobats appear throughout the day near the front of the pavilion. Be sure to check them out, you’ll be amazed at their skill and agility!
  • The Yong Feng Shangdian Department Store is one of the largest shops in World Showcase, featuring a variety of clothing, jewelry, fans, toy, home décor and other items from China.
  • Look for the KIDCOT pavilion, where children can color in a special World Showcase mask and have their passports or autograph books signed and stamped (passports can be obtained at most World Showcase gift shops, our Guide to the Magic for Kids Book also contains special World Showcase sections with lots of extras).
  • For dining, try the Nine Dragons restaurant for a fine sit-down meal, or the Lotus Blossom Cafe, where you can grab some quick stir-fry or a delicious eggroll.
