Hakuna Matata! The Festival of the Lion King is an elaborate, Broadway-style stage show based on the classic Disney movie. You’ll hear all of your favorite Lion King songs as well as some new musical numbers.

Touring Tips

  • This is a popular show, so if you want to go you might want to visit first thing in the morning or later in the day to avoid a long wait.
  • The show takes place inside an air-conditioned theater, it’s a nice place to take a cool break on a hot day!
  • The Festival of the Lion King release a large number of people into Africa at show’s end. Keep this in mind if you’re planning on grabbing a bite or visiting one of the other attractions (if you don’t have a FastPass+ reservation that is). If things seem unusually crowded, you usually just have to wait a few minutes for everyone to spread out again.
