The Innoventions
pavilions were originally named Communicore
(the two sections were named Communicore East
and Communicore West just like Innoventions
is today). The original pavilion was more serious
in keeping with the Epcot theme of discovery
and learning.
Updates:
In 1994 the Communicore
pavilions were renamed Innoventions, and the
interiors were redesigned with vibrant colors,
lively graphics and kinetic elements.
Guests to the renovated pavilions got to see a multi-media presentation
that introduced them to the new Innoventions. The presentation was
hosted by none other than Bill Nye the Science Guy.
